The Art of Storytelling

Nature Story and Craft: Around the Campfire-The Art of Storytelling: time 7-9 pm. Jone us at the state park office located at the Meadowbrook unit to learn about the art of Storytelling as it relates to Around the Campfire. Designed for ages 3 – 12, we will begin with a story, take a nature hike to inspire some creative writing and drawing, and return to the office to compose and draw about what we experienced. Then we will make a craft, eat a snack, and play a game related to being Around the Campfire. Please register your children by calling 320-839-3663.Directions: From Ortonville, go 7 miles northwest on Hwy. 7. Follow signs to the park. No Park pass is required on this day.
