REGISTRATION & EVENT INFO: Pomme de Terre Watershed Academy

October 24, 2015 @ 9:30 am - 2:30 pm

The State of Minnesota is the land of 11,842 lakes, that borders the world’s largest freshwater lake (by surface area) Lake Superior, contains the headwaters to the fourth longest river system in the world (Missouri-Mississippi), and has a recreational fishing industry worth $2.8 billion. Is water a big deal in Minnesota? We think so!

Have you ever thought to yourself, where does the water in my lake come from and where does it go? Or why is the water here all murky and green? We would like to invite you to the second Pomme de Terre River Association’s Watershed Academy.

Participants will spend the day discussing watershed topics and engaging in hands-on learning.

This is a perfect opportunity for teachers, lake associations, and residents to learn more about water quality issues in the Pomme de Terre Watershed.
