When he was a State Senator, Dennis Frederickson (R - New Ulm) was a respected champion of legislation designed to bring Minnesota into compliance with the Federal Clean Water Act. Now in his role as Governor Dayton's DNR Region IV Commissioner, Fredrickson oversees the management of state owned land in the Minnesota River watershed. Look for him at the Hollywood Theater to tap into his vast reservoir of experience and political insight.


20th Annual Meeting Celebration Open Stage: "Alpenglow"

Alpenglow is a new collaboration between singer/songwriter/poet Brian Laidlaw and Dusty Porch Sister front woman, Ashley Hanson. Their style is lyric and harmony driven, falling somewhere between folk and americana. They are comprised of acoustic guitar, electric ukulele and often joined by cello and drums to add to their haunting, rhythmic style. The Minneapolis-based duo have performed at venues such as the Fine Line, Kitty Cat Klub, Republic, Turf Club, 7th Street Entry and more. Alpenglow will be releasing their first album spring of 2012 and is proud to be a part of the Minneapolis based Yes!Lets Collective of artists and musicians.

The Art of Hosting is a training session for all who aspire to learn and find new ways for working with others to create innovative and comprehensive solutions.
