25 BY 25 South Central Town Hall Meeting
August 16, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Be that voice!
Governor Dayton often says each Minnesotan has an individual role to play in working to improve the clean water quality of our lakes, rivers, and streams for generations to come. On Wednesday, August 16th, 6:30 pm at the Centennial Student Center Ballroom at Mankato State University with members of the Governor’s Cabinet to host a variety of Town Hall meetings to discuss ways we can accelerate the pace of progress to clean water in Minnesota. We hope that you will join us and be a part of the conversation as we identify top priorities and key strategies. While we welcome those with a broad interest in water state wide, if meetings are reaching capacity, we will prioritize residents of the region for seats at discussion tables.
Who should attend the meeting? Anyone who cares about water. Water is essential to life and as such, we need to understand what individual actions each of us can and will take to improve water. While Minnesota is home to 10,000 lakes and many rivers, our waters are impaired and many communities are struggling to have clean water to drink, fish recreate in.
We need everyone to step up to the plate and learn what each of us can do to work to improve our water in Minnesota.
