FIELD DAY: Exploring Resource Work at Swede’s Forest SNA

On Saturday, July 5th, field staff will be hosting a field day to examine recent management activities at Swede Forest SNA, discuss potential future activities, and perhaps encounter uncommon and unusual plants or animals that reside on the rock outcrops of this site.

Footwear appropriate for hiking is recommended. There are no maintained trails and the hike will be on uneven, rocky terrain. Bring a hat, sun screen and water. There are no public restrooms or access to drinking water on this site.

DIRECTIONS: From Sacred heart 7 miles south on Co Rd 9, then 1.5 miles west on Twp Rd 1 (440th St) Park in pull off on south side of road.
