Minnesota’s Clean Energy Plan’s First Victory
Last Thursday, the Senate Environment and Energy Committee passed two significant components of a responsible Minnesota Clean Energy Plan—policy improving the state’s Renewable Energy Standard to 40 percent by 2030 and the yearly energy savings goal from 1.5 to 2 percent—as part of their omnibus bill (Senate File 1431).
