Anne Borgendale, Communications

January 28, 2015

Anne Borgendale

In October of 2017, Anne Borgendale joined CURE to work with Communications. She is responsible for CURE’s varied and integrated communications products and services, including newsletters and other print publications; Web, E-news, and other online communications; media, public relations, and marketing. Previously, Anne has worked with the Sustainable Farming Association of Minnesota and Buy Fresh Buy Local Upper Minnesota River Valley.

Anne is also a cheesemaker who is working on launching Brynhild Creamery in the Montevideo area. She grew up on a dairy farm in Lac Qui Parle County and passionately believes in restorative agricultural landscapes and ventures. After 12 years living away from the Upper Minnesota River Valley Anne is excited to be back. She shares CURE’s vision for a Minnesota where rural communities are vibrant, welcoming, and viable places to build a life and a family.

When she is not at CURE or changing the world through cheese, Anne can often be found cooking, gardening, and enjoying prairie walks with her husband and dog. Anne holds a bachelor degree in chemistry with a minor in biology from the University of Minnesota, Morris.
