Misty Butler, Secretary

May 19, 2019

Why have you chosen to serve on the CURE Board?

I was raised with a deep appreciation for nature and the environment. My parents’ involvement in CURE in their retirement years piqued my interest. I attended a few events accompanying them, and eventually became a member myself. I like the social and educational nature of the events that I have been involved in and really enjoy meeting people with similar values.

Tell us about your vocation/profession.

I am the Marketing Manager with American Security Cabinets.
I received my BA in art with a graphic design concentration at SMSU (Marshall).

Fun Fact(s):

My children, Hank and Raini, are incredible sources of inspiration in my life. I enjoy backpack camping with my husband from spring through fall every year.

Misty Butler was elected to the CURE Board of Directors in 2017.
