Why have you chosen to serve on the CURE Board?
As a farmer and sociologist, I appreciate CURE’s multi-faceted approach to the rural landscape. As CURE protects and enhances natural resources, the organization also builds human capital. And I appreciate CURE’s commitment to tackling tough energy issues.
Tell us about your vocation/profession.
I am a sociology instructor at MSCTC in Fergus Falls. I received my Ph. D. in Sociology from South Dakota State University and my M.S. in Tropical Agriculture from the University of Reading, England.
I am the Sustainable Food Production program coordinator at MSCTC and am certified in permaculture design.
Sue Wika was elected to the CURE Board of Directors in 2016.
